With teams in the Open, Mixed and Youth categories, it is a monumental task to field competitive teams, let alone get them to the Championship races. All coaches and athletes are amateur and need to fund their own way. If there is an inability to do so, it compromises the team and its ability to effectively compete.

Competing and winning are keys to the program's ability to continue introducing the river to those who may otherwise never have a chance to do so.

Through our efforts with the youth team, in particular, there are youngsters that are gaining experiences in physical activity, teamwork and sportsmanship while experiencing a natural resource within Philadelphia, the Schuylkill River, that they may never had experienced otherwise.

The Primary objective of the Manayunk Dragon Boat Racing Team is to continue introducing the sport of Dragon Boat Racing along with your support.

Major Sponsor: This is for the Corporation, or individual, that donates $100,000 or more.

*Corporate identity will be placed along the side of all our boats and motor boats.

*Corporate identity will be placed on all competition paddles as per race guidelines.

*Corporate identity will be placed on all warm up apparel and racing apparel for National and International Competition as per race guidelines.

*The team will race at Nationals as the Corporation's Team.

*There will be 2 tables of ten provided for the corporation at the Team's Annual Banquet.

*The Team will make itself available as guests to corporate events, as is reasonable.

Gold Medal Sponsor: This is for the Corporation, or individual, that donates $50,000 or more.

*Corporate identity will be placed along the side of all our boats and motor boats.

*There will be 1 table of ten provided for the corporation at the Team's Annual Banquet.
